For under 10 euros, I got a clean room with its own bathroom, a fan, TV, hot shower, and a comfortable bed, so it's very good value. At check-in, you have to sign to confirm you've understood that visitors aren't allowed.

We’re traveling as a couple, and hotels in Medellin can be pricey. This place suits travelers on a budget: it’s near a metro station, and by day it feels safe enough, though I’d be careful at night as anywhere. The room is basic but has what you need, including warm water, a nice bed, a TV, and a fan. I didn’t need AC. The women at the desk are super friendly, and the service is really good. There’s a restaurant right in the hotel with cheap, nice food. A good, inexpensive place right in the center.

The location makes getting around easy: everything in El Centro is close, and the metro is nearby for a quick, cheap ride to other parts of town. It's in the safer part of El Centro. My room was at the back, quiet at night, and the beds were okay. The room was comfortable, clean, and felt family friendly. The place gives me a strong sense of integrity, and the service came with a smile. The shower didn't have a shower-head, basically just a faucet in the air, though that wasn't really an issue for me. Warm water worked every time. They don't speak English, so Google Translate might help. Good price for the service. I skipped the restaurant because I prefer street food, and El Centro has some amazing options. The restaurant was busy and seemed to be doing well. Laundry for a small bag cost 20k, the same as at a nearby laundry. I had expected 30k from an earlier review, which would've been fine with me. I do recommend the place.

I stayed four nights as a solo traveler on a budget, and now I understand why this hotel gets such high ratings elsewhere. The service and care from the staff made the difference. Adriana was so kind and lent me her metro card for my whole stay, and another employee printed my check mig just in case. They also have free coffee in the morning. The city center area itself isn't especially inviting, but the hotel and staff are top notch, very nice, safe, and quiet. During the day you can walk to either Parque Berrio or San Antonio train station. At night, taking a cab is best, and rides are affordable, just a couple of bucks.
