I left after two days, even though I'd prepaid for five, and I won't return. The front desk receptionist was argumentative and rude from arrival; when I asked basic questions about visitor rules, she acted like I was a bother. It made me feel unwelcome. The convenient El Poblado location and reasonably clean room were about the only positives. The basic breakfast was toast, eggs, and a little fruit, so I ate at nearby cafés instead. Thin walls and street noise also made sleeping difficult. For the price, I expected better service and comfort.

The breakfast was the one letdown for me, since it didn't have as much variety as I wanted. Otherwise, a great hotel in a good, safe spot in the Pobaldo neighbourhood, with pleasant staff, nice amenities, and a spacious room.

A month before my trip, I made the reservation, but the day before my flight I got a WhatsApp message at 6:40AM saying my card had been declined. I called Chase bank at 7:15AM; they couldn't see any charge and told me to ask the hotel to try again. I passed that along, and at 9AM the hotel said the second attempt had failed too. Their system had cancelled my booking, so I was told to check availability and book again at the current rates. I didn't have time for that the day before traveling, so I booked somewhere else.

The location is great and the rooms are clean, but check-in was delayed because our room wasn't ready at 3pm. The buffet breakfast service didn't work efficiently either. The elevator is tiny for the number of guests, and furniture was being moved in it too. I'm not sure whether there's a service elevator, but the guest one felt cramped and constantly busy.

The rooftop view is amazing, but I'd pay a little more to stay somewhere else. The area felt sketchy at night. Only two people at the front desk were friendly, along with the cleaning ladies; the others spoke to me as if I were a criminal. They charged extra for water, a toothbrush, and anything else you asked for, which is unusual in my travels. The room was okay, though the walls were very thin, and I could hear people down the hall having sex. Breakfast was bland, so I'd try local restaurants instead.
