Hotel Loup

I was told there was a washing machine, but there wasn’t one. I was also charged incorrectly for an extra guest. A few times the water was cold, and after room cleaning there was a terrible smell, like dirty water had been used. There was also a lingering stench from the toilet and two roaches in my room. They kept running out of food without replacing it, and the WiFi barely worked. My visit hasn’t been pleasant.

The room was clean and the location was good, but my guests were refused entry even though the hotel suggests it’s guest friendly. The rooms are very noisy, with no double-glazed windows. Staff also opened my door twice in the morning while I was in bed, just to take a look.

The rooms are okay, but breakfast was horrible. It’s supposed to be served until 10am, yet when we got there at 9:30 there was nothing to eat. We had to argue with them just to get scrambled eggs made for us.

The staff made the difference during my stay. I tested positive for Covid on my first night, told them, and they took care of everything. I stayed quarantined for 4 days and never left the room until my last day. They handled all my needs for food, deliveries, and the rest. Elena at the reception desk deserves so much credit for turning a nightmare into something bearable. Her service through the whole ordeal was so kind, truly five-star. My street-facing room had a glass wall overlooking the circus coming to town as night fell. It had two double beds and a jacuzzi. I slept, rested, recovered, and healed there.
