Jardin de Laureles Medellin.

There was barely room to walk around. They squeezed in two full beds and a queen in a space meant for one queen, and there wasn't anywhere to put my stuff, not even a dresser. This was the smallest room I've had in 25 years of traveling. Breakfast was only there in name. The front desk was helpful, but that's not enough to make up for it. Avoid at all costs.

We booked one bed but wanted two, and they kindly arranged a room with two beds for us. Everything felt clean and new because the hotel had only recently been built. The receptionist spoke English very well and helped with all the information we asked for. Thanks for the professional, friendly welcome. We highly recommend this good hotel.

The check-in took far too long and felt very inefficient, and there was little attention to detail, including too few towels. The credit card machine was “broken.” My room was tiny, and termites were everywhere, with droppings raining down on me while I slept. Hot water barely worked. I expected a simple, clean hotel, but it was clear they were very disorganized and had no idea what they were doing.

Just remember to ask for blankets on your first night if you don't find any in the room. Breakfast was great, and the quality and location were amazing. The guy who runs the place is a great person too, if you get to know him.
