I had the worst hotel stay I've ever had, and it was worth none of the money. Management seemed not to care at all, and the place felt like it was running on autopilot. There are much better, calmer, more professional places to stay in Medellín. Avoid booking here.

Everything else was very good, but when I asked for hot water to take to my room for tea, I was told she was busy cleaning rooms and couldn't help. It would only have taken two to five minutes.

Calle 70 is close by, with places to eat and have fun at night, but the hotel is far enough from the noise to sleep well. The rooms and hotel were clean, simple, and had the essentials, and the price was great. On my first visit to Medellin, I was nervous after reading about the city online. At 1:30 AM, while I was at the Quito, Ecuador, airport, I messaged the hotel and didn't expect an answer. Don Hernan replied 15 minutes later, and the way he wrote back immediately made me feel good about the place. He reserved a room, answered all my questions politely, and arranged a tour agency to take me to local landmarks in and beyond the city. Gladys, the place keeper, kept my room clean and was so nice. They both went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in their city. I'm ready to come back and stay here. Thank you, Don Hernan and Gladys. You're both amazing, and I'll see you in the near future!
