We stayed just one night and were put on the fifth floor, with no elevator. The bed was hard, and the toilet seat wasn’t attached.

Getting an invoice was a struggle. They kept asking for my employer’s tax ID, which has nothing to do with my vacation, and made the whole thing difficult. I had to threaten to report them before they’d send it. They were even messaging me in all caps!

The rooms were spotless and had everything I needed to unwind after sightseeing. The hotel also has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that would suit tourists and business travelers alike. It’s easy to get around from Hotel Suramericana Medellín, with Atanasio Girardot Stadium, Cerro Nutibara, and the metro station nearby. I found the staff attentive and friendly, always ready with recommendations or help. With comfortable rooms, a convenient location, great value, and thoughtful service, it’s a strong choice for a Medellín stay.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all while I was there, and the TV picture was poor. The mattress and pillow were also extremely uncomfortable, very firm with what felt like a plastic covering.

Had a great stay, thanks! The room was good and had a big TV. Everyone was so friendly, from reception to the cleaning staff, and the hotel’s in a great location.
