La Playa Hostel & Rooftop

La Playa is right in the middle of a big party neighborhood in Medellin, but inside it's a pretty chill spot. It's very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The common area is nicely decorated, and they provide towels and locker keys. The Wifi was pretty fast, too. The staff were friendly and helpful, except for one girl who sometimes works at the bar. She wouldn't give me the iron for my clothes and didn't open the front door for me. I guess she didn't like me much, but it's okay. I still recommend the place. Thank you Daniela and Alberto.

The rooms are clean and nice, and there's a TV and couch where you can watch Netflix. It has a social, family-like feel, with really kind and welcoming staff. Nights can get pretty loud, so bring earplugs if you turn in early.

We stayed close to a week and didn't get tired of the place. It's a great hostel, with a very clean feel, a pleasant common room with hammocks, and a lovely rooftop bar. Everyone on staff was super nice and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was great and really convenient.

Right in the centre of Poblado, this is a wonderful hostel. The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the rooftop bar was a great place to have a few drinks before the evening. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I couldn't recommend it more.
