If you know, you know. Los Patios has all the things that make a hostel stay great. I've stayed in both the 4-bed and 6-bed dorms, and they were both clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and everything close at hand. Laundry is quick, convenient, and really well priced. There's plenty of space to relax, have a beer or coffee, or hang out with people. The location is more like a central base where the rest of Manila branches out, rather than somewhere merely close to things. For a hostel this size, the staff are remarkably warm and friendly. Stephanie and Andrea were great at answering questions and giving recommendations, and they were just fun people to spend time with. I'm terrible with names, but everyone here has that same welcoming feel. The party buses and bar crawls with the staff make for a night you'll remember. Even when I don't stay here during a visit to Medellin, I still come by to see the view from the top and catch up with the staff. There are loads of hostels in El Poblado, but if you're stuck trying to choose, this is the one.
