Parks, shops, restaurants, and taxis are all close by. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable, and it felt very safe.

The staff were attentive and friendly, promptly taking care of residents’ needs and going above and beyond to make people feel at home. The fitness center is well equipped for different exercise levels. With dining, shopping, and cultural attractions nearby in a lively part of Medellín, it’s a great base for exploring the city. Luxury Apartments Prana by Cadissa has beautiful architecture and modern design that balance comfort and elegance. The apartments are spacious, beautifully decorated, and fitted with top-notch appliances. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. It’s an outstanding choice for an upscale stay and truly exceeded my expectations.

Be careful, they may add extra charges. I booked through Airbnb, but at check-in they asked me to sign a lengthy paper in Spanish with lots of extra rules and financial penalties that hadn’t been mentioned through Airbnb. Management wouldn’t accept responsibility and insisted on enforcing them. They also don’t work on weekends, which is outrageous for hospitality. I couldn’t agree to the added rules, mainly because they charge 150 000 COP for a guest after 8pm, and that kept us from checking in. This isn’t required by law, as far as I understand; it’s their policy to get more money from customers. They need each guest’s ID and have to report it to the police, but that’s routine administration and doesn’t justify a 150k fee that’s more than half a day’s room rate. The hotel interior and room looked nice, but this incident felt disrespectful toward guests and was a red flag for me.

The staff said they had no record of my reservation, even though I had a confirmation and proof of payment. There were rooms available, but they tried to charge me 60% more than the price I’d booked. I paid through a legitimate online booking site, which still appeared to have access to the hotel’s reservation system, but on arrival I was told the hotel no longer honored bookings from that platform. When I asked them to sort it out, they sent me to the booking site for a refund. They didn’t seem interested in keeping the original rate or helping with a problem their failure to properly disconnect from the platform had partly caused. It was an incredibly frustrating, unprofessional experience and felt like a bait-and-switch. I’d strongly advise checking rates and availability in writing before you arrive. Booking directly might avoid this, or you may want to stay somewhere else.
