The breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly, but poor coordination made the room problem much more stressful and slow to resolve. I booked six nights and specifically asked for a quiet room. Nothing at booking said it would face the street, but my first room looked straight onto a very busy road. I'm not a light sleeper, and after several weeks traveling in South America I'm used to traffic and street noise, yet this was unlike anything I'd experienced. Noise went on all night, with essentially no soundproofing. In busy El Poblado, that made it hard to sleep. I was exhausted during the day and struggled to focus on or enjoy the walking tours I'd booked. They eventually moved me, but only after I raised the issue more than once. Staff communication was unclear, delayed, and sometimes contradictory, leaving me with the sense that the guest experience wasn't a priority. Quiet room requests weren't respected, and the hotel doesn't seem equipped to handle noise in such a busy location. I wouldn't recommend staying here if sleep matters to you.

We loved it! Thanks, manila hotel! Everyone was so kind, and the 24/7 reception is really important when you're traveling internationally. The hotel is beautiful, in a good, safe area, and breakfast is included with some good options. I'll stay here again when I come back to Medellin. 10/10!
There are plenty of good coffee shops and places to eat nearby or within walking distance, and it's a great neighborhood. The price is excellent, too. Staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and cozy, with great TVs, good mini fridges, and air conditioning. Breakfast was decent. The patio was being worked on while I was there, so there was noise through the day. I'd stay here again.
I stayed one night for work at this nice little hotel in a well-known part of Medellin. The dealbreaker for me was breakfast: they serve instant coffee! Strong enough reason not to come back. Who serves instant coffee in Colombia?!
The breakfast wasn't very tasty and didn't offer much variety, and there was some street noise in rooms with windows. The room doors are thin in general. Still, the location is great on a pretty safe street, reception service was superb, and the rooms are beautiful. One of the best showers we've had here. We recommend it despite those downsides.
