It's about a 10-12 minute walk to Poblado metro station, and the location is quite nice. Still, I wouldn't stay again. The hostel smelled strongly of marijuana smoke when we arrived, and although the staff were very friendly, that shouldn't happen. They also forgot our towels. Breakfast was very poor, and after the first day I didn't see any reason to wait for it again. Sorry.

Fights and arguments happened often, and EDM played from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m. The owners and employees smoked weed at the bar all day. They even threw away my clearly labeled medication from the refrigerator, apparently too stoned and irresponsible to notice it. Easily one of the worst hostels I've stayed in. The cool cat and dog were the one plus.

We were really comfortable in our double room. The owners and staff were super nice and helpful, and we felt very safe there. The owner was happy to share good tips for day trips and nightlife in and around medellin.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the people are friendly and open. They serve well-cooked Antioquia dishes, too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

If you're in Medellin and want to meet cool, really helpful and friendly people, Mila Hostel is a great pick. It's especially suited to young people and the young at heart. Highly recommended!
