In El Poblado, the location was great, and the breakfast was good. My room was huge, with a hot tub and balcony. I had to get by with my terrible Spanish since I didn't seem to encounter any English-speaking staff.

The street-facing room was noisy all night, with traffic, barking dogs, and loud music. Ask for one at the back. The rooms themselves are nice and spacious, with a kitchenette and a big balcony.

The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and really nice, and the staff were kind and friendly. As of May 2023, a large building site next door had just been cleared. It didn't bother us, but work could get noisy as it progresses, so it's worth checking with the hotel for an update.

I felt unsafe because the apartments are tucked into a dark corner, and the staff were rude and careless. They're hugely overpriced for what they offer and well below the standards of comparable places. They also hide a $100-per-hour checkout fee from guests, which feels like a way to take their money. The way they do business should be reported to the Colombian authorities. Worst place to stay in Medellin!
