The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and close to everything. The little shower window was my one issue. Club music was loud, but it didn’t bother me.

The place felt very safe, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic, though we did run into some missing items and cleaning problems during our stay. Bring things like ice with you. The jacuzzi is great, but takes a while to heat up.

The main drawback is the late night music from Medellin’s nightlife all around the hotel. Even the thick windows couldn’t keep the noise out, so I’d avoid it if you’re older, though it could suit younger groups. Inside, the apartments were roomy, clean, and comfortable, with very new furniture. The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help.

The modern interior is new, and there’s a rooftop jacuzzi with an open roof. The location itself is the best part, but my experience with the front desk was poor, so I can’t recommend staying here. The employee I dealt with would lock the entrance door and disappear from the desk. Whenever my friends and I came back, during the day or at midnight, we had to knock and wait for him to return and let us in. I’ve never seen a hotel keep its entrance locked like that. I also saw him ask guests for money as they were leaving, with the door apparently not being opened until they paid. He asked us for free liquor as well. I saw police come to the desk, where that same employee showed copies of the passports of all the guests staying there. We paid top dollar for a seven-bedroom apartment, but there was only one bathroom for every two rooms, so we had to share. The pictures make the interior look nice, but I’d tell people to stay away. Management should train this employee to treat guests professionally, stop harassing them and asking for money, and keep the door accessible instead of leaving it locked while he’s away. If you’re a gringo visiting Medellin, make this your very last option.
