Alborada Hotel is close to supermarkets, restaurants, and clubs, which was handy. The food was good for the prices, and after looking at some other hotels, this seemed like the better option in Melgar. Some staff were just okay, though, and not as warm or friendly as people at other places. Still, I’d say it’s a very nice place to visit and probably the best place to stay. Thanks for having me, Alborada Hotel.

I travel around the world, and this place was bad. I was in Melgar for business at the Air force base, and Alborada’s owners came across as arrogant, acting like they ran a five-star hotel. The rooms at the back were very old, with terrible beds and mattresses, and the food was bad too. The pool closes at 8 pm, and you can’t bring a guest there. It’s hard to see why my boss picked this hotel based on the pictures. The way the owners treated their employees also struck me as very humble in attitude. I definitely wouldn’t come back.
