Four Seasons Bogotá Casa Medina Hotel

The staff stayed on top of everything, and breakfast came in a wonderful setting with a matching selection of delicacies. The bar has a very cool jazzy vibe, and the restaurant was amazing too. The rooms are spacious and excellent, with particularly good bathrooms. Nothing but perfection. Sad to leave.

The location, architecture, and historic charm were all highlights. The staff were gentle and eager to help, as you'd expect from this kind of hotel. Breakfast was generous and delicious, though it cost about COP 130k or $30. The speakeasy inside was cool, with good drinks. Beers were around COP 22k or $5, and drinks around COP 65k or $16. I'd definitely stay again. The gym is small and was packed at 7AM. I also had street noise in my room. Mine faced the avenue, though I don't know if that's true of all rooms. Guess they should have

The staff helped us a lot with booking restaurants and tours, and also with transportation. We spent three nights here, our first nights in Colombia, and the attentive team and spacious rooms made the stay feel magical. I absolutely loved this Four Seasons. Everything was perfect, and I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

Breakfast was great, though the restaurant otherwise was fine and nothing exciting. The speakeasy idea is well intentioned, but poorly executed. The drinks were nice, but service was comically slow. When we asked about ingredients because of an allergen, the bartender brushed off our concern even after we found a list showing the ingredient. He then insisted we pay for the drink anyway. The welcome was lovely and the staff were friendly, but the stay was just OK, which is a letdown for a FS location. My room had noise from the street and from the hallway or lobby carrying up the stairwell. My friend had to change rooms because hers smelled overwhelmingly of mold or damp.
