Amanwana Ecofinca

The access is along a dirt road, and it’s about a 20-minute walk, but the place itself is really enjoyable. There are lots of trees, eco-friendly facilities, a clean pool, and big, comfortable rooms. The staff were especially friendly and attentive.

I came here to get away from Bogotá’s noise and pollution, and found the complete rest I was after. Thanks to the support team for helping us during our stay from December 18th to 22nd. I’ll be back.

It’s peaceful here, but be prepared to leave the property if you want much choice of food or drinks. There’s no restaurant or shop like the information suggests, just a small kitchen serving one dish, and no snacks or drinks apart from beer and Coca-Cola. The nearest town is a 15-minute drive, and there’s nothing close by. Getting here is rough too, the rural road is in very bad shape. They should offer more options so guests don’t have to go elsewhere.

The service was acceptable, though it could be better, and we wouldn’t return or recommend visiting. My husband, our 7-year-old son, and I stayed a week ago, but of the two nights we booked, we could only stay one and they wouldn’t refund us. It’s a very remote, natural place, but the rooms and facilities didn’t justify the high prices. Our room had a ceiling fan and was full of mosquitoes. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was poorly cleaned and full of mosquitoes too. The rooms aren’t nice in general, and the lack of maintenance is obvious. Drinks cost far too much, and breakfast isn’t included, so we paid a lot for very little.
