Hotel Anamichu Suites

The location near downtown was handy, and the pool was pretty nice and somewhat clean. Breakfast was included. But the room was noisy with no soundproofing, and it was dirty when we arrived, with hair, dust, and spider webs on the floor. There was no toilet paper or soap, the wifi was very slow, and the gym was almost nonexistent. I traveled with colleagues, and some had rooms reserved by the hotel. Those of us who booked through a web platform had our reservations cancelled, then were told the actual rates were double or sometimes triple what had been advertised. Several colleagues found their laundry picked up from the room floor and cleaned without asking for the service. They were then asked for a large amount, about 6000 Pesos per piece, to get the clothes back. The manager called us thieves and liars when we pushed back, and claimed this was excellent service. I felt he was clearly a gangster. Between that and the poor rooms, I can't recommend the hotel and won't return.

The employees were really helpful and did their best to make us comfortable. They were willing to accommodate us however they could.

The room was clean, though the faucet kept dripping. It was quite loud, too.
