Hotel San Jorge Suite

The room itself was what I expected, but the bathroom was in awful shape, with a dirty, damaged curtain. They handed me the wrong TV remote and tried ten others before I ended up buying one myself. Even then, the TV had no signal and was useless. Cleanliness was terrible: after three days, by Monday the water looked like river water. Too many people were allowed into the space, so we couldn’t enjoy the stay we’d paid for. I can’t really judge the service, since we couldn’t even get a cup of coffee.

I was shocked by how filthy the apartment style room was. It was supposed to be clean, but it smelled musty, had dust mites, and the bathroom had hair in the toilet. The bed and sheets were stained and unclean, there were no fresh towels, and housekeeping was nowhere to be found. I also saw dust mites and ticks on the beds, with no pest control. The staff’s description didn’t match the actual place at all. It’s not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here. The advertising gives a false impression.

The pool was good, but I wouldn’t come back. The hotel has really gone downhill since it used to be better. The rooms are dirty, beds uncomfortable, TVs don’t work properly, and everything feels worn out, even for a budget hotel. During my stay the music went on far too late. People were smoking psychoactive substances, rude guests were fighting, and glass was broken in the early morning.

The bowling alley, pool, and price are good points, but after several stays I’ve watched the hotel decline. The rooms are basic and seem neglected, with a broken TV, noisy surroundings, and a rusty fan. There’s no screening of guests, and drug use, heavy drinking, and fights lead to disturbances. Loud music carries on late at night. A few small fixes and better management could make a big difference.
