I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this hotel after what happened on my second visit. The first time was fine, but this time I felt ripped off. I had paid for a four-person room with a balcony, yet Mr. Fabián put us in a shabby room at the back with no balcony. When we complained, he said the balcony room cost 50,000 pesos extra. I paid to avoid ruining the trip, even though I knew that wasn't what I'd booked.

The facilities looked worn and didn't match the photos. Morning service was good, but at night the person serving us wouldn't even say hello and was consistently rude. Really poor service. You'd expect a more pleasant welcome.

We went midweek, after peak season, and had the whole hotel to ourselves. The pool is quite large, the rooms are just right for the price, and the play area is very good. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with great service. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were nice, but the staff's professionalism and attention were disappointing. Check-in took almost half an hour even though I was the only person there, and reception didn't seem very serious. Pigeon droppings covered the entrance. I nearly got some on me.

We'd paid for two nights for six people and had only been at the hotel for eight hours when we got the call at 7 pm that my grandmother had passed away. We explained what happened and offered to pay for the extra hours and room cleaning, but they refused. Instead, they changed the date of one night and made us lose the other. We arrived around midday, and this was a force majeure situation. The owners were incredibly inhumane and irresponsible.
