Hotel Campestre Villa Quindio

We based our booking on good Tripadvisor and Google reviews, reserved two rooms for three nights, then cancelled after the first night and moved to another hotel. I asked to switch rooms, but the one they offered seemed just as bad or worse, so we left. The staff understood when I explained, and the women in the kitchen were making a real effort, which is why I’m giving two stars. The photos don’t reflect the place as it is. The rooms face the highway, and the noise went on all night. They were hot, and the only fan provided was tiny and didn’t work well. When I complained, I was told the new administration had only been there for two months, apparently. It was one of the worst nights I’ve had in a hotel. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the room and bathroom weren’t very clean, and there was mold on the walls. The shower glass hadn’t been washed in weeks, the toilet seat lid was broken, and the towels were so thin you could see through them. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you can sleep through heat, noise, and discomfort.
