Conjunto Mirador Del Sinu

Jader was very attentive, and there’s security around the clock. Other guests say the complex is well placed for exploring the Sinú River. The apartment is simple but has enough for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom could use some maintenance on the shelves and soap dish, though it’s still usable.

After a very hot day of activities, we got to the apartment and found there was NO water in the shower, sink, or bathroom. We couldn’t shower, wash our hands or face, or even use the toilet. The receptionist rudely explained that they turned the water off every day to save water and put it back on at 5 a.m. We left the next day. I won’t be coming back.

It was really quiet, with students living there, and there’s a food district nearby. The air conditioning in the rooms was going full blast.

The ferry ride was a pleasant way to get across the river, and there are several options right in front of the complex. To reach the city center, the Malecón, or the Ronda del Sinú, you have to cross by ferry. On the other side are the city’s most typical and beautiful areas. If you’d rather skip the ferry, take a taxi to the center, since walking is long and tiring in the heat. The location is excellent, and the apartments are clean, well served, and furnished with the essentials, including cooking facilities. They’d suit a couple or a family of four. I recommend this kind of hotel-apartment.
