The chalets are modern, cute, clean, and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens and hot showers. The staff are kind, and there are a few dogs and even cows around for company. It’s just a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the city centre. On one side there’s a tree-lined river, and on the other a long stretch of big plants and bushes. They screen off Paipa’s general untidiness while still leaving you with mountain views.

The cabins are so cozy, and everything was really clean. The people working here treated us like family. Whenever we had a need or problem, the women on staff sorted it out right away and were incredibly kind.

The manager and hotel staff were so friendly and gave us useful local advice. They shared a map of places to visit, noted which routes were paved and which were rural, recommended restaurants, and gave us contact details for the thermal park. They also told us about a nearby route to see the Christmas lights, which cost 25,000 pesos per person if we didn’t want to drive. Excellent service.
