At Aite Eco Resort, falling asleep with the doors open to the sound of the surf and waking with the sunrise was unforgettable. We stayed in an upper room in the beach house, just a few steps from the ocean, with waves right outside. The open-air restaurant was a lovely place to end a hot day, with sea views, creative dishes, and no loud music. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere stayed peaceful. We spent five nights reading on the beach, playing in the waves, cooling off in the pool, and relaxing in our cozy room. The palms, long stretch of Caribbean sand, and sound of the Atlantic made the setting breathtaking. Palomino itself is lively and busy, but Aite felt like a calm, stylish retreat. We’d definitely come back for the nature, comfort, and chance to unwind.

After my excursion was accidentally cancelled, the staff went above and beyond to look after me. I got to use the beach, pool, and spa, and the massage was a highlight. The place is cute, too. I wish I could have stayed longer, so I’ll come back next time. The service was honestly amazing, and I can’t believe how well they treated me.

After trekking to the Lost City, we spent six nights here to rest and unwind. It was just right for that: quiet, with a nice beach, good food, and exceptional service.

The roads and bridges were destroyed by the weather, making travel completely impossible two weeks before my sister’s wedding. We had booked a room for the wedding, but Aite is refusing to refund any of the guests. Other hotels we contacted are giving their expected guests full refunds because they know the properties can’t physically be reached. The communication and customer service were awful, and the staff I dealt with were the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Save yourself the money and headache. I’d beware of this place.

On my first solo trip to Colombia, I booked one of the beach houses in September. The beach looked beautiful in the rain, and the whole place was calm and relaxed. The staff were really nice. There was no air conditioning, but that wasn’t a problem for me, and I slept comfortably in the very comfortable bed. I’d come back and recommend it.
