Hostal La Media Luna

Juan was such a friendly, helpful host and always available when we needed him. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the quiet pool area is lovely. It’s within walking distance of the bus station, and the main road is about 5 minutes away. Being a little outside the main area was a plus for us. There’s no AC in the rooms, so nights get very hot. We knew that when we booked, though, and it’s common at places in Palomino. I’d recommend staying here and would come again. Thanks, Juan!

The place felt very safe, helped along by Juan’s three beautiful, friendly Shepherds. He was welcoming and caring, and his tips about Palomino and getting to Cartagena made our stay perfect. Our room was large and very clean. I’d happily come back. Thank you, Juan!

We stayed in Bungalows 1 and 2 for four nights, and the tasty breakfast was well priced. Restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away, with a shop nearby. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, which was the best part for us. The garden is well developed and full of fruit trees, and the pool is the best and most relaxing place to stay in Palomino. Both rooms had wifi, and the kitchen area was much faster, over 100mbs if you need it. We took an extra day to enjoy the pool and do some surfing.

The owner was really friendly and helpful, and there were lots of spots to hang out by the nice pool. It’s a relaxing place, a bit far from the beach, but that also keeps you away from the town’s chaos. There didn’t seem to be many other guests while we were there, though it was rainy season.
