Antonio made our whole stay unforgettable. He gave us the best service we’ve had anywhere, and we’ve traveled all over the world. You can tell he takes pride in his work. We have so much respect for him. Thank you, Antonio!

We had a good time overall, thanks to a few cheerful staff members, especially Andres, and the hotel was clean and beautiful. Andres from the restaurant was excellent, skilled, communicative, practical, smart, focused on solutions, and very helpful. The hotel is lucky to have him. The massage wasn’t good value for the money and could have been better. Reception wasn’t available in the evenings. The receptionist with glasses was awful. We asked about a ride to a restaurant five minutes away, and he arranged a driver without telling us the price. When the driver arrived, I asked, and the receptionist said it would be around 40 US dollars, which is crazy for a five-minute trip. At checkout he even tried to charge us for transportation we hadn’t used, and didn’t apologize.

I was in the El Ebano room on the first floor, close to reception. It’s a peaceful hotel for unwinding, around a 20-minute drive from the airport. The restaurant and pool have lovely hillside views. My room had a firm king-size bed, and the shower drained slowly, but the place has a charm that wins you over. Breakfast was adequate before a day of sightseeing, and my salmon dinner was tasty. The staff were professional. I used Google Translate when we ran into a language barrier.

Even with less than ideal weather, the views were spectacular. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and really made an effort to make our stay better. I only wish the menu had more authentic Colombian food, but I’d happily come back.
