The lodge sits on one of Providencia's best stretches of seafront, with excellent sea views and good breakfast. The value is among the best on the island, though the place could use an update. It's especially convenient for diving, since Felipe’s Diving Shop is almost part of the lodge and is the best diving shop around.

Philips and his No2 at the dive shop are amazing guys, and it's hard to beat the island's best dive school. Just be aware that if you're in room 108, the shop's 7:30 am activity might wake you. The Captain, who owns the place, is warm and friendly, though getting the Cabanas up to scratch may mean spending a whole day cleaning. His staff take the p**s.
