Posada Miss Portia

Miss Portia is friendly, helpful, and knows a lot about what to do on the island. She cleans the rooms every day and offers extras for a small fee, including moto and golf cart rentals, laundry, fresh empanadas, and fish balls. The posada is also an easy walk from the good restaurants on Southwest Beach. We chose it because it’s close to Anda Di Wata, where we went scuba diving for three days, and it was a great choice. The air conditioning cools the room quickly, and there’s a mini fridge. A small shared kitchenette has a stove, fridge, coffee pot, panini press, and pantry boxes divided by room. Miss Portia lent us a water jug so we could exchange it at the market down the street, cutting down on plastic and saving a little on water. Great service and a nice place to stay. We’d absolutely come back.

Clean, simple, and excellent. The air conditioning worked well, and there were plenty of clothes hangers on the shelf, which you rarely seem to get right. It’s a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

Miss Portia is a lovely host, and she cleaned my nice room every day. I have nothing but good things to say about Posada Miss Podría.
