The staff are super friendly and ready to help with anything. The air-conditioned room has everything you need, and there's a small restaurant with inexpensive breakfasts and delicious lunches. I really enjoyed my stay on this paradise island at Posada Valerie. It's the place to stay on Providencia!

I was traveling solo, but they only had a two-bedroom place available: one room with a double bed, another with a single, and bunk beds in the galley, all for 70,000 pesos a night. Deal directly for amazing prices. The rooms are cleaned every day, and food and a bar are just a minute's stroll from the door. One of the friendliest Posadas on the island. Black sand bay has amazing views, and at night the water laps right up to the concrete road.

It's the cheapest place on the island if you just need somewhere to stay overnight. It's near a swamp, so you get nice frog songs, but the mosquitoes are merciless.

The location worked out well for walking into the center each day, which saved us from renting a motorbike. We stayed in a room facing the beach, with a comfortable bed, a great air conditioner, and a minibar. The shower had no pressure and the water was cold. Breakfast was good, with different dishes prepared each day.
