Playa Manzanillo is just up the road, with Roland’s Reggae Bar there too, and South West Bay is about a 10 minute drive for food, diving, and beach bars. Yellow Home has Starlink, so digital nomads and travel bloggers can stay connected even in this remote setting. Renting a 4x4 Kawasaki mule was easy, as Doris and Ceasar had one waiting for me when I arrived. The casitas sit down a small, rustic driveway just off the main road, tucked into a lush tropical garden. Each wooden house has its own character, comfortable bedding with a mosquito net, air conditioning, a full size bathroom, and a simple living space with a kitchen, dining table, and patio. You can feel the ocean breeze in the morning and smell the bougainvillea flowers all around. It's an ecotourism kind of stay, with a quiet, outdoor feel and enough modern convenience to be very comfortable. Providencia is still an unspoiled tropical island, and this is a wonderful base for exploring it and enjoying a simpler, more peaceful way of life. Doris and Ceasar were welcoming, courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They greeted me personally and shared useful insights about the island. Yellow Home offers a real sense of being away from the world in a tropical sanctuary. As the Caribbean gets more commercially developed, with unsustainable property development, it's hard to find a place that offers such genuine island living. I'm grateful to Doris and Ceasar for their hospitality and for creating a place that really fills your island soul. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Doris and Cesar helped us arrange a golf cart and a snorkeling trip with wonderful local guides, which made our short visit even more memorable. They were caring and organized from the time we booked until after checkout. I even joked that I wanted them to adopt me, that's how looked after we felt. Our two story cabana wasn't fancy, but it had everything we needed: air conditioning by the bed, a shower with a proper temperature gauge, and a mosquito net that kept the night bug free. The lush, lively garden was so peaceful, especially after the busy, noisy energy of San Andrés. Their warmth and attention to detail made this a 10/10 stay. César was a real highlight, always warm, accommodating, and ready to help. He arranged transport and gave us excellent restaurant and diving recommendations, going above and beyond to make the stay special. The property is beautifully kept, with a lovely garden and separate, modern homes that were spotlessly clean. Each had a kitchen and air conditioning, fans, and high quality mosquito nets around the beds. It's close to the island's two best beaches. We could walk to one and take a short ride to the other. Renting a moped or golf cart through Yellow Home was easy and well worth doing. There's even a hose in the garden to rinse sand off your feet, plus a little supermarket within walking distance. Just keep in mind the shop's hours can be unpredictable. Highly recommend Yellow Home for a comfortable, relaxing stay in magical Providencia!
