Parador del Gitano Hotel & Restaurante

The pool is big and deep enough for a proper swim, and the grounds are kept clean. The rooms are basic but comfortable and quiet, with little outside noise. Housekeepers come daily and move your belongings around, which made me uneasy about leaving money or documents in the room. The hotel isn't in the city, though some restaurants are about a seven-minute walk away. That's useful, since the hotel food is crazy expensive and disgusting. There's no hot water in the shower. Outside food and drinks can only be consumed in your room, and smoking is allowed only in the outdoor parking lot.

Probably fine for one night. It's clean, and the pool is okay, though you have to wear a hat. The place is very noisy, there's no fridge or closet, and the coffee isn't fresh. They just heat it in the microwave.

The food is excellent and the service is great. El parador del gitano is a good place to rest and unwind if you're visiting Hacienda Napoles for more than a day. It's close by. I gave it four stars because there's no good pool, jacuzzi, or other activity for the family.

A good stop on the way to Medellín. The people were great, the drinks were fine, and breakfast came with the stay and was really good.
