Mira Mira Beach

For about $45USD, you can stay overnight and spend time at a beach club with a bar, small restaurant, and day beds. Really, that’s a steal. It’s near Cartagena and you can take a boat over. The staff are nice and the manager is doing a great job. The rooms are good, with a great view, and the beach is decent. Some rooms share bathrooms, with locks on the doors, which explains the much lower price. A lot has changed, so disregard the old reviews.

What a beautiful spot, but I can’t make sense of the service. I’ve been sitting at a table waiting 2 1/2 hours for lunch. Each time I went to ask why it was taking so long, I got a different, strange answer. I speak Spanish, so I’m still at a loss. Hopefully you get lucky and receive good service if you come. 👍🍀

I stopped in for fresh juice and food, and everything was perfect and very clean. No horrible loud noise, and it’s a nice, clean beach with clear water, the best for swimming.

The owner and bartender are thieves. They kept our 50k change and acted as if we’d handed over less cash. Such a shame, because the day itself had been nice, with good food, average drinks, and attentive staff. The beach, though, was disgusting, with trash in the water.
