The corridors have beautiful art, and the city itself is an amazing, lively place full of Afro-Colombians. At the hotel, though, it’s noisy and damp, and the food seemed strangely expensive for its quality. Checkout was extremely slow, so allow extra time if you’re heading out.

The terrace on the eighth floor has the best city view, and the location is great. The place was very clean, with friendly staff, and prices are quite affordable. For an in-room jacuzzi, book a deluxe room.

We waited more than an hour after ordering, then the waiter told us one of the dishes wasn’t available. I’d taken my father there hoping for good service, but it was awful. A terrible experience at this restaurant.

I asked what came with the room and got told it was the usual stuff. The staff were very unfriendly, and the customer service was terrible. Nobody mentioned the cockroach.
