Breakfast was the low point. We had to wait outside until exactly 7:00, then got poor food and cold, tasteless coffee, which was especially disappointing in the coffee region. The staff seemed joyless, and that mood affected the whole place. We'd just driven seven hours and hoped for a warm welcome. There was no help with our bags or useful information, just a cold remark that everything was in the room. The rooms were okay, but not cozy. Ours faced the street, and the noise was constant enough that none of us slept well. As a Colombian traveling with my foreign family, I was ashamed that the warmth and hospitality our country is known for were missing here. It wasn't worth the money.

We paid extra for a cabin with a jacuzzi, and it was set well below the hotel building in the valley. We couldn't hear the road, just a dog in the distance. Cabin 107 is so secluded that nobody can see you. From the balcony jacuzzi and hammock-like net, we had incredible views stretching far into the distance. The floor-to-ceiling windows even continue into the shower. The spot feels tucked away but is still an easy walk into town, so don't let the lower ratings about road noise put you off. Breakfast suited us. Most mornings we could choose between two fruits with yogurt and granola, or eggs, and there was enough for us. You can order extra for a fair price, and I paid more for a cappuccino. We had to leave early one day, so the kitchen prepared bags with sandwiches, bananas, peanut butter brownies, and drinks. They were super yummy.

We had a comfortable three-night stay in Cabin 101, with lovely views across the valley. The property itself is gorgeous, with nice plants and a fire pit.

The cottages sit on a steep slope, so anyone with mobility issues may want to request one near the top or choose a regular room. We stayed in a wonderful cottage with a jacuzzi bath on the balcony and incomparable mountain views. The hotel is beautiful, and breakfast was good and made to order. It's a great location, a little away from the bustle of the main square but only a five-minute walk from the jeeps for coffee tours or Cocora Valley. Highly recommend.
