Hotel Parque Los Arrieros

The room had roaches and other bugs everywhere, and there was mold on the roof. We told reception, and she came in and killed one roach, then said she'd be right back. Instead, she locked us in the bedroom. We eventually managed to get out and had to call the police at 11 pm, because nobody from the hotel even showed up. I'd give zero stars if I could.

After a 12-hour drive, we arrived in the afternoon with 10 people, including kids, and were told there was no booking. We'd reserved online from Australia in May 2024. The staff gave us no explanation and seemed not to care at all. They tried to send us somewhere else, so it felt like we'd either been overbooked or taken for a ride. Booking.com gave a very different explanation too.

The staff are nice and very helpful, but getting here means taking an unpaved road some distance from the main road. At night, using the bathroom can wake other people because the lights and doors are noisy.

The road up to the hotel is completely wrecked. In the room, the little stand fans don't cool things down enough, and there isn't a minibar fridge, ceiling fan, or bedside lamp. The shower drain is clogged, so water floods the room and leaves the floor really slippery. There's no rubber or plastic mat to grip.
