Hotel Plaza Roma

The staff are ready to help, and the place is clean. There's a lunch plaza nearby, and it's centrally located.

The location is good, and breakfast is served on a lovely upstairs terrace. They ask what you want and make it fresh. But when I asked for milk, I had to beg for a drop, and I still don't know why they didn't want to serve it. The rooms are the main problem. Mine was tiny and crammed with beds, almost claustrophobic when I shared it with two friends. There were two bunk beds, so with four people and suitcases, there was barely room to move. Getting into the top bunk would be hard unless you're really athletic. Cleanliness could be better. The bathroom was small but clean and had towels. There's wifi and air conditioning.

When you make a reservation, the reception staff don't give you all the information.

The hotel was good, and I liked my stay. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but still manageable. What bothered me was that after checkout I left my bags there, then came back wanting to shower and asked to borrow a towel. They said I’d have to pay for one. That felt like a basic courtesy, and if they’d lent me one I would’ve given five stars.
