The breakfast is delicious, and I appreciated having water, coffee, and aromatics available. The place itself is nice, but restaurant service really varied depending on who was working that day. They could also offer reusable cups. And if parking costs extra, it shouldn’t be listed as included.

The location is central, just a few blocks from the town square, while still quiet enough. The rooftop restaurant and bar was gorgeous, and I loved the local artisan ceramics displayed for sale by the entrance. I bought several pieces. The staff were so hospitable, the food was yummy, the beds dreamy and comfortable, and the showers were wonderfully hot. I’d been travelling around Colombia for days and had really missed a hot shower. Such a beautiful experience. I’ll be back!

We’ve already stayed twice in three weeks and will probably come back once more before we leave Columbia. The property, rooms, and service have all been excellent. Highly recommend.

The stay felt like a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and they were quick to communicate on WhatsApp. Parking in the nearby garage was easy and discounted. The room was amazing and smelled wonderful, with a giant, comfortable bed worth every penny. I loved the shower, balcony, and windows framed by foliage. Their ceramicist connections make for great workshops, and the restaurant and lobby arts display were incredible. They arranged a wonderful workshop for us with sweet local artisans. Honestly, this is the place to stay.

A clean, modern hotel with tasteful design in beautiful El Carmen. The staff were nice.
