The free ride to the airport in the morning was a nice touch, and the location is very convenient. The shower had lovely hot water, and the staff member we saw in the early morning was really kind and sweet. But the planes made quite a bit of noise at night, and on Saturday there was loud music from a nearby place until about 1 AM. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and the staff member who greeted us at night wasn’t kind. If I had to choose again, I’d pick another hotel a little farther from the airport.

Hostal El Hangar is handy for an airport stop, and there’s a large parking area behind it if you need to leave your car. The restaurant next door is open all day. Our room was basic but comfortable, the internet a little slow, and the TV worked. The bathroom, sink, toilet, and shower were clean. For a hot shower, give the water heater a little time to run. You can hear the airplanes, but the friendly staff had us in our room quickly and were great throughout. Say hi to the cat that wanders around!

The airport shuttle pickup was very quick, which is the only reason I’m giving it two stars. I was there for just six hours before an early flight, and wouldn’t stay again. The room smelled strongly of mildew, the sheets were stained, and there was mold in the bathroom. The walls are very thin, so noise carries in this busy area. There’s nowhere to get water, and the restaurant next door only accepts cash. No air conditioning or heating either. A disappointing stay.
