Hotel Med Llanogrande

Great prices, a great location, and great staff.

The staff are friendly, though breakfast service is slow. The hotel is in an excellent spot at the Llano Grande mall, but it’s a busy area, and the soundproofing is poor throughout. The walls are thin enough that you can hear conversations and other noise from the surroundings. The double-bed rooms are interior and have no windows. Rooms with two double beds face outside and have one window, but it doesn’t block the noise.

At check-in, I learned the hotel had canceled my reservation and said they had sent messages, though they never reached me at the phone number on the booking. Before that, employee Camilo had arranged the reservation. I asked for an account number so I could pay, but he said I could settle the full amount when I arrived, in cash, by card, or by bank transfer. I also told him twice that I wanted to cancel ahead of time. He said the booking was confirmed, that he had sent confirmation, and that I could show up on the reserved date. It was a really bad experience.

Everything was fine, and the airport is very close.
