Luna Roja suits anyone looking for real quiet, with no shops, vendors, or loud music around. Getting there takes some effort because the road is unpaved and access is a little difficult, but the trip is worth it. In June the sea feels like a swimming pool. It gets very hot inside the house, and there are lots of mosquitoes, so bring repellent. “Don't bite” is the only one that worked for me. There are also many very skinny, hungry dogs, so take a small bag with you.

The townspeople were friendly and helpful, and thanks to them we managed to get by. The accommodation itself was a different story. The place has potential, but don't book it unless you want to be stuck with a man who communicates through false messages. The room was very dirty and not worth the price. When the pump worked, the water was mangrove water, and it sat in the shower smelling terrible. I could go on, but the photos are not something you can trust. Good luck getting out of there.

Bring plenty of drinking water, strong insect repellent, and Raid. The local fishermen are cheerful and kind, though they have many needs, so bring some nice clothes if you can. The house is spectacular, with lots of places to relax or spend time together without getting bored of one spot. Two friendly women from the coast cook the best fish and seafood, with the best seasoning I've ever tasted, and the service is exceptional. The handyman can arrange tours or help with whatever else you need, always with a smile. The sea stays warm even at night, almost like a jacuzzi, and the fine sand never makes your feet burn in the sun. You see shells and marine life everywhere. It's a hidden gem, and one of those places that makes leaving for home sad. If you're lucky, you might find out why it's called Red Moon. It's one of the most magical places I've been, and I highly recommend it.

The worn road adds to the charm, and once you're there, it's all privacy and beauty. Red Moon is a great way to get away from everything, with Wi-Fi, parking, a private beach, nice rooms, and excellent food.

I can't thank them enough for such a wonderful stay. The house feels so cozy, the food is delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Luna Roja is the kind of place that's hard to leave. I'd recommend it 100%, and I promise I'll come back. Thank you!
