Doña Rubiela was so kind and helpful. Getting to sit and chat with her, with her purring cat on her lap, was a highlight of the trip. She made me feel like I was visiting my own grandmother. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are comfortable, and hot showers were much appreciated. We spent lots of time on the patio. The place is just far enough from el centro to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough for an easy walk anywhere. Great for a group, and I recommend La Esquina for breakfast, especially huevos pericos con arepa/queso, yum. Everything was lovely, and I can’t wait to come back. Thanks so much for hosting me and my family!

Doña Rubiela is the best and made sure we had a great stay. The location is peaceful and quiet, and the property and rooms are high quality. Hot showers, a well-stocked kitchen, a great upstairs common area and patio.

It’s in its own quiet spot to the side, yet close to the interesting shops on the nearby street. Casa De la Ciencia is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It helps to know at least a little Spanish while staying here, but hand gestures and google translate can sort out a lot.
