The terrace hammocks and garden were lovely places to unwind, and the hostel felt really homey. It was calm, with the loveliest owners, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Towels were included. Breakfast was nice too, with eggs, arepa, bread, fruit, cheese, and tea or coffee. The location is great, right by the bus station and still very easy to reach the town center. Salento is easy to get around on foot, so getting places was never a problem. I'd definitely recommend it.

The owners took care of any problems, and I found the hostel comfortable and flexible for different budgets. It's a little way from the city center, but everything is only a five-minute walk away.

Señora Elisa runs this quiet haven, and I loved the place. The garden is delightful, with lots of different birds visiting the bird table and the big, beautiful trees. The two dogs are wonderful too, especially Dante. Breakfast was standard but fine. My double room was comfortable and looked out onto the garden, so waking up there each morning was a pleasure. The Hostel is opposite the bus station and just a short walk from town, which was very convenient. I saw the Twin room, and it wasn't great because it's so close to the road and could be noisy. I'd suggest choosing a room away from the main entrance.

The rooms had everything we needed: they were spacious and warm, with en-suite bathrooms, hot water, good pressure, and towels. The area felt very safe and comfortable, and we enjoyed every second of our stay. The couple who run the hostel were so kind and helpful, and it was excellent value for money. It's opposite the coach station, which worked perfectly for our early morning coach, and only a 10-minute walk from the main plaza. The hosts served a delicious traditional breakfast and even offered an earlier sitting to fit our departure.

The bus terminal across the street was a real plus, and the hostel was almost always empty, which suited me perfectly. The hosts were pleasant and accommodating. My dorm was a little small but tidy. The dressers didn't lock, though my big backpack fit inside. Dogs barked sometimes, which made me feel safer, and the birds talked all night. I always bring earplugs. I paid 95k a night for a bigger private room for a few nights, and those rooms are quite decent. If you're not too picky, it's a decent place for great value.
