Hotel El Mirador del Cocora

At El Mirador de Cocora, the views over the lush mountains and flowing river are breathtaking, almost magical. You might even be lucky enough to see Nevado del Tolima in the distance. It's a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the beauty of the Cocora Valley.

A cozy little gem for anyone who loves nature. The rooms have lovely valley views, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The trails for Cocora hikes are only a five-minute walk away. Nights are quiet, breakfast is delicious, and the value is great. Five stars!

The room with the view and Jacuzzi was worth it for those incredible views. The hotel's beautiful, really close to town, and one of the best places we've stayed. We were at Kawa too and preferred this hotel. There were some downsides: lots of bugs in the room, noise in the morning, and a pretty average breakfast. A few times, all the water stopped, not just the hot water, but it came back after a little while. The location, views, and room still made for a really good stay.

I'd read some bad reviews and was a little worried, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Services are limited, though with so much around town, we didn't need much at the hotel. The hill up can be tough for older people or anyone with an impairment. The view from our room and the seating area was one of the best we've ever seen, and the higher climb made sense once we saw it. We had room 101 with a balcony and Jacuzzi. It was clean and spacious, and breakfast and service were lovely. The reception ladies seemed a bit cold, though that may have been a language barrier. There was also a bottle left in the room that would have been a nice touch if it had been complimentary. We loved our stay and would come back.
