The upstairs room was terrific, and the price was extremely low. It's right in the centre, a very good choice for a budget traveller. Jorge speaks English very well and, as a tourist guide, shares useful and timely travel advice. Highly recommended. Rod.

The internet worked very well, and the owner can arrange horse riding and other excursions at good prices. It's a basic but pleasant hostel, especially for such a competitive rate.

Pretty cheap, cozy, and in a good location.

We stayed in the first-floor apartment, which had no kitchen or balcony, for $30,000 COP per person each night. The second-floor unit has a balcony, electric stove, and dishwasher, and costs $40,000 COP per person per night. Both apartments share beds, a bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, and furniture. It's a self-contained guesthouse, which we really appreciated, and the place felt especially cozy upstairs. Don Jorge and his family were friendly, honest, helpful, and clear with information. In the late evening or early morning, people sometimes gather to chat and have a drink on the steps at the corner. If you get up and speak with them, they understand and move along. The nearby liquor store may play a part in this; perhaps its owners could ask customers not to linger on the corner after closing. We felt fortunate to stay at Hostal Diana and highly recommend it.
