Hotel Galería la Trinidad

Clean, comfy rooms and genuinely kind staff. It’s a great base for exploring old Cartagena, with restaurants, party spots, and striking architecture and urban life just around the corner. For the price, it’s definitely a good deal.

The price felt fair for the season, and the care here made me feel spoiled. The room was pleasant and roomy enough, with a nice bathroom, and I enjoyed the hot water. Breakfast was good, the rooms were kept clean, and everyone, including the welcoming front desk staff, was respectful, helpful, and discreet. I really appreciated my time here. I loved this small boutique hotel and felt at home. I hope it can keep offering such good service at affordable prices. When prices get crazy, tourists may not want to visit Cartagena. It’s such a beautiful place and deserves to be visited, loved, and protected. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room was basic, with no windows and an unpleasant damp, moldy smell. Edgar :-) and the rest of the staff were very nice and professional, though. The location was great, on the street with umbrellas overhead, about a five-minute walk inside the city walls. There were plenty of shops, stores, and bars around, and the room was affordable. Breakfast was typical Colombian, with eggs and fruit.

The staff were so friendly and spoke English really well. They also kindly let me practice my Spanish, and gave us useful tips on things to do and places to eat. We had a great stay. Pretty much everything we wanted to see in Cartagena was within walking distance, including the Castel. We were told to take a taxi there, but at a leisurely pace it took us only about 10 minutes to walk.
