Aqualina Inn

The rooms are modern, spacious, and have air conditioning. They also provide beach towels, which was really convenient. Staff were super friendly, and the location in San Andres centro was convenient and quiet, near the beach and restaurants. They arranged a scooter for us quickly and at a good rate.

The Inn is easy to reach from anywhere in the small town, and the beach is only a couple of minutes away on foot. They also provide beach towels, and Aqualina Inn has hot water, though it didn't work every day. Island infrastructure is pretty basic in general. I had a positive stay and would recommend it for this category. My room was spacious and comfortable, especially the bed, and the safe came in handy. The cleaning staff did a great job every day, and the room smelled fresh after time at the beach. Wi-Fi worked well, but outside noise came through easily. Some materials looked worn, and the toilet stopped flushing twice, though both times it was fixed the same day. Reception was friendly, better than average for the island, and check-in and check-out were seamless.

We were there for almost two weeks, and the staff were really kind. The room was cleaned and made up daily. It's about a two-minute walk to the sea. We could hear a lot from outside, like people talking and scooters parked right by the hotel, and the Wi-Fi was slow. Those were our only complaints.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the room was great. I would have added another night or two, but my travel companion wanted an ocean view. The area seemed safe, though it wasn't really my kind of place.
