It’s right in the heart of the island, so you can get everywhere on foot, and it’s lovely for going out at night. The view from the windows is beautiful, and the main beach, spratt bight, is 100 meters away. mamá Vick, who works at the front desk, is an absolute sweetheart. The downside: our apartment didn’t have a hot shower, which has been difficult for us Brazilians who are used to warm or hot baths.

Honestly, this is one of the worst buildings in San Andrés. In the apartment where I stayed, the pipes smelled like sewage. They didn’t provide water, so I had to buy it. I had to take everything downstairs clean and leave the kitchen dirty, then pay more than 40,000 pesos in tips just to be able to leave it dirty.
