Hotel Bahia Sardina

They were welcoming and helped us all through the stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we got beach towels. They even let us use the facilities and showers on our checkout day. Breakfast suited the level of the hotel. We were very satisfied.

I came back to Hotel Bahía Sardina with my sister after a wonderful first stay, but this visit was disappointing. The floors around the lobby and pool were dirty when we arrived, which made me wonder about the upkeep and staffing. I later checked my booking and realized breakfast had been included, even though we were charged 75,000 COP for breakfast for the two of us. The receptionist should have confirmed that at check-in. By the time I caught the error, it was too late, and I felt taken advantage of. I also booked a tour through a man named Clark at the hotel, then learned I could have bought the same tour at the marina for much less. I paid 75,000 COP and added a tip for Clark and another man named Robert from Montetira Cardora, thinking it would be shared fairly between them. I thought I was supporting honest, helpful staff, but now it feels like my kindness was taken for granted. I'd suggest checking your booking details and comparing tour options. The marina near the Regatta Restaurant has plenty of vendors with better prices, so it's easy to compare. Trust and honesty matter, and I felt they were missing this time. I don't see myself returning.

The room was the issue during our one-night stay. We were in 310, and it smelled strongly of mould from the air conditioner. There were mould spots on the curtains too. With the hotel's prices, they should definitely be able to service the air conditioning. The staff were nice, breakfast was okay, and the beach is very close. They also have a nice jacuzzi on the roof.

We had a great time here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
