The hotel is in the farthest area from ADZ Airport and downtown. A local bus goes around the island from there about once an hour, between 8am and 7pm, so you’ll need a rental car unless you want to spend most of your time at the hotel. I booked a week ahead, but when I arrived nobody on staff knew a guest was coming. The room I’d booked was out of order. The Jacuzzi didn’t work, there were no toilet seats, and there was stagnant water. The place felt dusty and out of service. I saw a tick in an advanced stage of growth crawling on the wall, flies in the room, and roach droppings in a window corner. I’m giving it one star because the other comments don’t feel truthful. I was lucky to find a clean place downtown, and I hope the hotel has fixed these problems since my visit on 9/26/2018.

We had the good fortune to stay with the owner, her family, and friends, and got to try her delicious meals. It’s a wonderful mansion with a pool and barbecue area, about 13 km from the centre of San Andrés. A lovely place to relax, highly recommended!

Hotel Boutique Villas Anuhur is in an excellent, pleasant area of San Andres Island, with the sea right in front. It’s a mansion with spacious rooms full of natural light, and has everything you need to unwind and enjoy the sun and sea.

The hospitality was so warm that I felt right at home, and I’m very grateful for the service at Villas Anuhur. The food is delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!
