The location is quite far from the city center, so you need a motorbike or taxi. A taxi costs 30,000 pesos, and a motorbike is 5,000 pesos per person. It costs more at night. We also recommend improving the room cleaning and cleaning the coffee maker, which wasn’t cleaned at all during our five-day stay.

Before judging a place, I’d suggest taking a good look at what you’re getting. For me, it was a good fit for what I paid and what I received. If you want a five-star hotel, pay for a five-star hotel; don’t expect that when you book a two-star one. It’s a good place, and Elvira is a great host.

The room was clean, but the beds were cramped and there was barely space to walk. There was no window, which made us feel suffocated, and we had to keep the air conditioning on all the time. The area was very noisy and not touristy at all. There were no restaurants or places to visit nearby, and we had to walk quite a bit just to get out of the area. The hotel is far from the main beach, downtown, and the airport, so you need to take a bus or car. There was no restaurant, bell service, minibar, laundry, or transportation, and nobody at the hotel was available to help us request any extra service. Since it only provides lodging, I don’t think it belongs in the hotel category. The place needs maintenance. When I asked to cancel my reservation and leave, they charged me 50% of the booking without any consideration. I ended up staying two nights so I wouldn’t lose the whole payment.

For what it offers, the hotel does the job really well. It’s simple, but the bed is comfortable and the service is great.
