Coral House was a peaceful place to stay, with comfortable rooms, two kitchens, a pool, and shared outdoor space. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. As a diver, I loved having so many dive shops nearby, and the quiet, nature-y south side suited me much better than the busy north. I slept well and really appreciated having a kitchen. Getting around takes a little planning, though. The closest grocery market is 1.5 miles away, and in low season only a few nearby restaurants are open. Town is about 6ish miles away, so you’ll need a taxi, around 40 mil pesos/$10, if you want to head north. For me, the quiet made it worth it.

The rooms are simple, but clean and air-conditioned, and I thought they were great value for San Andres. We spent two nights with Tracy, who was lovely, helped with everything we asked, and shared great recommendations. The house is on the quieter, peaceful west side of the island, with a couple of restaurants and bars nearby. I’d absolutely recommend Coral House if you’re looking for a more relaxed, peaceful, magical side of San Andres.
